Typically, the best way to get started is to attend group classes. Based on age and skill level, you have options to choose from. See our calendar to learn about the various offerings.

There is no pressure to participate the moment you walk in the door, but you can if you wish. At the very least, we will size and fit you for a uniform. The first month is typically a discovery month when new fencers participate in various classes on different days, as well as beginning private lessons.

Once your fencer is acclimated, Coach Mike will work directly with you to determine what will work best in the way of setting up private lessons based on weapon form (foil vs epee), days, and times. Contact Coach Mike at your convenience to begin the process of setting up these appointments.
