


Ridgefield High School Fencing Club Sport
Learn the art of fencing (foil, sabre, epee), make new friends, and compete for Ridgefield High School Tigers.
All meetings and practices will be held at Way of the Sword Fencing Academy 21 Governor Street, Ridgefield CT 06877 (take the town bus and walk from the library)
Tuesdays and Thursdays 330 pm to 5 pm sharp
First practice starts Nov. 30 and will run on Tuesdays and Thursday for the season.
Ridgefield High School students may register to train and compete in the sport of fencing through the RHS Athletics Dept. As a club sport, we will be competing against other high schools in CT as we as participating in four different State Championship (novice, JV, Individual, and team).

NOTE
All fencer MUST become members of the United States Fencing Association ($10 yearly fee paid directly to USFA.org)
All fencers MUST own their personal uniform with electronic scoring equipment. Do not buy anything until we know what weapon they will be fencing.
What about 8th graders? Middle school students are encouraged to attend these practices to begin their journey early so they can compete at a higher level as a freshman.
